White Ribbon: Marketing and Communications Manager
White Ribbon is currently recruiting for a Marketing and Communications Manager. The role will enhance White Ribbon’s brand presence and impact across digital and social platforms. The successful candidate will develop, implement, and evaluate White Ribbon’s marketing and communications strategy, plan and activities to meet the organization’s strategic goals. The Manager will work effectively across the White Ribbon team to identify strategic entry points for promotion, and enhanced reach with key target audiences. This role will support the organization’s diverse portfolio to exceed social marketing metrics associated with multi-year projects. The successful candidate will flex their creativity, knowledge, passion, design skills, and expertise in identifying and leveraging appropriate channels to promote the White Ribbon vision to end all forms of gender-based violence. They will do this through digital storytelling, creative design, and media production. The candidate will bring a deep understanding of crafting compelling messaging, media relations, social media, and digital content creation.
The successful candidate must understand the drivers and dynamics of creating effective awareness and engagement campaigns. They must also have a good grasp of gender-based violence in the Canadian and global landscape, paired with a keen interest and passion for promoting healthy masculinities, gender equality and inclusion with diverse stakeholder groups.
